KThe program consists of many components which include: afterschool program, independent living program, pizza and prayer, food/clothes pantry, outreach/drama ministry for recreational and community involvement purposes and skill building activities.                                           

SYDC is based on an evidence based model.

It implements and uses the approach of many scientific based researches which includes the Strength Based Model, Person in Environment (PIE), Social Learning Theory, Psychosocial development, Ecological and Cognitive Behavioral theory (CBT).

These theories have proven to be effective through empirical research which revealed to be an effective approach to meet the needs of the targeted population.

This model will continue to pattern after new empirical data and evidence based practices to evaluate the effectiveness of attaining the desired outcome.
